Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how StarPass Holdings LLC (“StarPass”) uses cookies and similar technologies on starpass.site, what they do, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise your browser, remember preferences, keep you signed in, and measure how the site is used. “Similar technologies” include local storage, session storage, pixels, and device identifiers. In this Policy we refer to all of these as “cookies.”
2. Types of Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Services to work. They support core functionality such as submitting a request, maintaining your admin session, and protecting against abuse. You cannot refuse these cookies without breaking the Services.
2.2 Preferences
These cookies remember choices you make (for example, display preferences) to personalise your experience.
2.3 Analytics — if enabled
If and when we enable analytics, we will use privacy-respecting measurement to understand how the Services are used in aggregate. We will update this Policy before any analytics cookies are set that require consent under your local law.
2.4 Marketing — not currently used
We do not currently set cookies for cross-site advertising or retargeting. If this changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, seek your prior consent.
3. Current Cookies
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-access-token | Supabase authenticated session for admin users | Session / up to 1 hour | Strictly necessary |
sb-refresh-token | Supabase session refresh token for admin users | Up to 30 days | Strictly necessary |
sb-*-auth-token | Local storage entry used by Supabase auth helpers | Until sign-out | Strictly necessary |
starpass_consent | Stores your cookie-consent choices, if a consent banner is enabled | 12 months | Strictly necessary |
Third-party cookies may be set by services we use, such as Vercel (hosting edge routing), Supabase (auth), and, if enabled, Brevo (email tracking pixels). Please consult those providers’ policies for further detail.
4. How to Control Cookies
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See instructions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge / IE.
- Opt-out tools. The Global Privacy Controlsignal is honoured for users whose laws treat it as an opt-out of sale or sharing. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information, so this signal is informational for us today.
- Consent banner. Where required by your local law, a consent banner will appear on your first visit and you can change your selection at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Services, or parts of them, from working.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Effective” date above. If a change affects strictly necessary cookies, we will provide notice on the Services.
